Ephesians – Family – 6:1-4 – 1349

Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. Honor your father and mother, which is the first commandment with a promise: that it may be well with you, and you may live long on the earth. You fathers, don’t provoke your children to wrath, but nurture them in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.

Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right. Honour thy father and mother; which is the first commandment with promise; That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth. And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.

Ephesians – Chapter:6 Verse:1-4

Ephesians – Discipline – 6:4 – 854

You fathers, don’t provoke your children to wrath, but nurture them in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.

And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.

Ephesians – Chapter:6 Verse:4

Ephesians – Family – 5:25, 28 – 1347

Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it… Even so husbands also ought to love their own wives as their own bodies. He who loves his own wife loves himself.

Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it… So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself.

Ephesians – Chapter:5 Verse:25, 28

Ephesians – Greed – 4:17-20 – 1604

This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that you no longer walk as the rest of the Gentiles also walk, in the futility of their mind, being darkened in their understanding, alienated from the life of God, because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the hardening of their hearts; who having become callous gave themselves up to lust, to work all uncleanness with greediness. But you did not learn Christ that way.

This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind, Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart: Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness. But ye have not so learned Christ.

Ephesians – Chapter:4 Verse:17-20

Ephesians – Forgiveness – 1:7-8 – 1518

In whom we have our redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace, which he made to abound toward us in all wisdom and prudence.

In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace; Wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence.

Ephesians – Chapter:1 Verse:7-8

Ephesians – Adultery – 4:22-24, 27 – 53

That you put away, as concerning your former way of life, the old man, that grows corrupt after the lusts of deceit; and that you be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and put on the new man, who in the likeness of God has been created in righteousness and holiness of truth… and don’t give place to the devil.

That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness… Neither give place to the devil.

Ephesians – Chapter:4 Verse:22-24, 27

Ephesians – Anger – 6:4 – 354

You fathers, don’t provoke your children to wrath, but nurture them in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.

And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.

Ephesians – Chapter:6 Verse:4

Ephesians – Criticism – 5:1-2 – 542

Be therefore imitators of God, as beloved children. Walk in love, even as Christ also loved you, and gave himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling fragrance.

Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children; And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.

Ephesians – Chapter:5 Verse:1-2

Ephesians – Discipline – 5:10-14 – 853

Proving what is well pleasing to the Lord. Have no fellowship with the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but rather even reprove them. For the things which are done by them in secret, it is a shame even to speak of. But all things, when they are reproved, are revealed by the light, for everything that reveals is light. Therefore he says, “Awake, you who sleep, and arise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you.”

Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord. And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret. But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light. Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.
